BACKYARD EFFECTS

Backyard Effects is an exploration of the essence, movement, experience, and memory of a place. The title was inspired by the book "Ordinary Affects" by Kathleen Stewart. This series revisits the familiar space of my childhood home in a “grown-up” and different perspective. Blurred photography and abstract oil painting come together to pick up where the other leaves off.
